I have just returned from a week at the Jersey shore and continue to reflect on my time there. Reflection allows my analytical left brain to slow down and see life from a wider perspective. Each morning, I walked down to the water's edge, where the retreating tide had left the sand dark, firm, and glistening like a held breath.
