DESCRIPTION:Join Sr. Ilia Delio on June 24\, 7-8:30 PM (UK) for a webinar hosted by The Scientific & Medical Network. \nAre We Disconnected From the Core Energy of Love?\nPierre Teilhard de Chardin was a French Jesuit priest and palaeontologist whose writings integrate evolutionary religion and evolution: work that was suppressed during his lifetime but has become a touchstone for anyone seeking to hold scientific and spiritual worldviews together. Teilhard believed the universe is not winding down but unfolding toward ever-greater consciousness\, driven by what he called a core energy of love woven into the fabric of matter itself. \nDrawing on Teilhard’s vision\, this talk argues that love is not merely a sentiment but a cosmological force: one that calls us to awaken by recognising the whole within ourselves and in the world around us. When we lose sight of that inner-outer unity\, we fall into the fragmentation that lies at the root of so much contemporary moral confusion: tribalism\, ecological indifference\, a sense of meaninglessness. \nThis matters now because we live in a moment when both science and spirituality are asking convergent questions about consciousness\, interconnection\, and purpose.
